From Leander: “Our initial inspiration for Alluring Seasmoke came from an idea from El Braley of El’s Cards for an ombre invitation suite she wanted to create. From there the design of our shoot fell beautifully into place. I wanted to keep with a seaside feel and a grayish purple color palette, but at the same time I wanted to keep the look and feel sophisticated yet casual. I began curating a beautiful collection of decor pieces for the tablescape, which has turned out to be one of my favorite tablescapes yet! One of my favorite things has to be the beautiful driftwood chargers…and can we talk about the flatware from Anthropologie?! I’m a little obsessed.”
From Leander: “Once I met with Kristen Ward from Wanderbird Floral, she immediately got my vision. She came up with the most gorgeous floral design and sourced the perfect collection of flowers and greenery. She created the stunning floral chandelier, which takes this shoot to a whole new level of gorgeous! I especially loved the accent of deep red she included which really added a beautiful pop of color and more life to the floral design!”
Leander mentions: “When I saw the paper goods El created, I couldn’t believe how perfect they were! The watercolor ombre and the gold calligraphy were so beyond gorgeous. I loved her oyster shell place cards with the gold calligraphy, which tied our sophisticated, seaside theme together so beautifully.
From Leander: “Rachel Halsey Photography truly brought this shoot to life from behind her lens. She captured the feeling of Alluring Seasmoke so beautifully and I’m so excited to share this beauty with all of you!”
