From Allison: “I’m so excited to share this dreamy Oregon Trail inspired wedding shoot! The shades of pink and light blue are a perfect example of the beauty and versatility of the 2016 Pantone colors of the year announcement! This inspiration shoot pays tribute to beautiful Oregon state and it’s brave, adventurous pioneer ancestors. It depicts a love story nestled in the heart of the Willamette Valley representing natural beauty with a timeless appeal.”
Allison tells us: “Summertime in Oregon is truly magical. The land is vibrant and teeming with life and natural greenery. Oregon is host to an abundance of fresh fruits and berries, natural woods, rivers, meadows streaming with wildflowers, and warm sunlight filtering down as you work, play, and love. The soft pinks and blues fit naturally into the Oregon landscape, and also have the potential of a great vintage vibe, and can go either soft and romantic, or fun and vibrant.
“We incorporated the color palette into not only the food and beverages, but also the fun light blue reception gown, the florals, and also the invitation suite and other details. And not only is the bride wearing the colors – so is the groom! The tie has a fun mix of the pink and blue, which usually sounds like something a guy isn’t inclined to wear, but combined with Birds’n’Bones cast animal bone accessories it’s definitely a cool option.”
