From Tulip + Rose Photography – “Inspiration comes in many forms. When we heard Pantone’s new color of the year was Marsala, our minds immediately drifted to Paris – the wine, the culture, and of course the art. Of the many brilliant works of art at the museums in Paris, Manet’s ‘Luncheon on the Grass’ stood out in our minds. The painting evokes a feeling of romantic nostalgia – relishing in each others company, engaged in delightful conversations, getting to know each other and indulging in the sweetness of nature’s bounty whilst surrounded by nature herself. With this inspiration fresh in our minds, we set out to plan our own modern take on this classic masterpiece!”
