Ever wonder what happens when a fine art wedding planner & stylist moves into a villa in Tuscany and uses the estate as a wedding venue? Well – I’ve got an answer for you today and it’s pure magic! Silke of Weddings by Silke made her dream come true and moved into her ‘brand new’ 1640s era Tuscan home, the amazing Villa Montanare.
Today’s inspiration shoot, captured beautifully by Diana Fronhmueller showcases this beautiful place with an intimate garden wedding editorial.
From Weddings by Silke – “The magical Villa Montanare, a stand-alone farmhouse established in 1640, was built by the family Fabbri from Florence who moved to Cortona during the turmoil between the Guelphs and Ghibellines. The Villa is perched on a hill overlooking a breathtaking panoramic view of the Val d’Esse and Valdichiana Valley and surrounded by a paradisiacal variety of cypresses, pines, figs, fruit trees, rosemary bushes, lavender, oleander, cacti, time-worn olive terraces and stone walls… the perfect setting for a fine art wedding!”
“We created a beautiful romantic bridal getting ready in and around this beautiful Villa with all those amazing textures followed by an intimate ceremony in the backyard on a higher olive terrace with a stunning view in the Val di Esse and Val di Chiana. We know that you’ll fall in love with Villa Montanare – everyone does!”
