From planner The Tuscan Wedding & photographer Stefano Santucci – Kristin and Timothy will never forget as it was the day they gave their full commitment to each other through good times and bad as they vowed to love and cherish each other for the rest of their days since this fabulous US-based couple choose Italy as their magical spot to start a new chapter in their lives!
“Prior to their wedding, Kristin and Timothy came to Florence to organize their big day and actually had their engagement in the garden at Salviatino Hotel in April of the same year! While this wedding was incredibly special for them, they also had a ceremony in the United States as well.
Their wedding was quite the elegant affair as their wedding was at Castello di Vincigliata. The history and beautiful architecture of the castle was extraordinarily grand and guests felt like royalty throughout their stay!”
“The wedding had a romantic touch with a red, cream, and white color scheme. The bride wore a simple, yet stunning dress as she walked down the aisle; it was reserved and modest with sheer lining to cover her decolletage and shoulders and all around absolutely stunning! Timothy wore a fitted blue suit and they kept their wedding intimate and simple in terms of a wedding party and there were no bridesmaids or groomsmen.”
“The ceremony itself was a religious ceremony taking place in San Martino a Mensola Church. During the ceremony an organ played beautifully in the background and for their first dance, Kristin and Timothy prepared a performance for their guests.
From the ceremony, guests moved into the reception that had a very sophisticated and enchanting feeling to it. It was an extremely romantic candlelit dinner with two long tables under a tent and looking out into the Tuscan countryside! Guests were in awe watching the sunset and eating merrily with other their friends and loved ones.”
“Of course with a destination wedding in Italy – the food must be mentioned! The menu was filled with a decadent variety of options. For starters there was burrata cheese paired with tomatoes and basil. They then served Paccheri with parmesan and crunchy bacon or the vegetarian option with asparagus tips. The main course consisted of beef fillet with wine sauce, roasted potatoes, and spinach. The vegetarian option here was an eggplant parmesan.
For dessert, the guests indulged in a delicious wedding cake that was a millefogile with chantilly cream, almond brittle, and berries. There was also homemade praline and coffee being served!”
