We love this time of the year because we can finally be outside! Buh-bye heat and humidity, hello crisp yet warm outdoor dinners. This plastic bottle flower wreath is perfect to decorate your patio and outdoor parties. You also get to recycle plastic bottles to boot! The best plastic bottles for this projects are the thicker water bottles and large soda bottles. We got to try Fiskars RazorEdge™ Softgrip® Scissors, which has – you guessed it – a razor edge blade, which cuts through heavy materials with ease and precision. To make these flowers, cut your bottles in half, using the spout ends. Cut your petals all the way down the spout, trying different shapes and lengths for each flower. Spray paint starting from the center, wait for them to dry and apply a different color towards the ends of the petals to achieve an ombre look. These plastic bottle flowers are great for decorating outdoor parties + patios and transport and store easily as well.
