From POP Event Rentals & Designs –“Our unique theme of a Gold Rush Wedding was inspired by the natural, earthy elements that we used in our floral, color palette and pulled from our beautiful outdoor venue at Dodasa Ranch in Burson, CA!”
POP Event Rentals & Designs –“The color palette has many earth tone browns and blacks, creams, a little green with pops of blue (to resonate with Levi’s jeans founded during the Gold Rush era), red and gold. Our sweetheart table mixed wood rentals like our farm table and vintage wood chairs with beautiful flowers, shimmering Pyrite, (also known as Fools Gold) and old railroad spikes hand-lettered in gold to say Mr. and Mrs.
The sweetheart table was highlighted by the venue’s wood pavilion and hanging chandeliers. Antique gold candlesticks and brass candlesticks together with gold candles were used to bring out the gold aspect to the whole look. ‘Flowering natural twigs’ made to look like table runners flanked the candlesticks on the sweet heart table.”
“The chairs and lounge area were decorated in keeping with the simplicity of the bygone era but made to look romantic in the natural setting of the beautiful venue. . Included on the Singer Sewing table in the lounge are celebratory drinks of Goldschalager that included real gold flakes.
The hanging cake stand complimented our natural and ‘of the surroundings’ elements as it had gold and wood impressions and accenting floral designs and the invites were inspired by old west poster bulletins that would be hammered up for everyone to see.”
“The bouquet was made to look as if a river of flowers were running between and across the arms of our beautiful model bride, Kate, in cohesion with the table decorations tied with lace and tie dyed earthy colored ribbon. Our model frolicked among the venue’s property, gold panned in the stream, and got caught in a romantic rainstorm!”
