The Difference Between Full Head & Individual Wefts

We know that our extensive range of hair extensions can be quite bewildering, especially if you’re making your first foray into clip-ins. We thought we’d make your decision a little easier by running through the differences between full head sets and individual wefts.

We always get asked about the differences between full head sets and individual wefts so, whether you’re a hair extension novice or just fancy a change, take a look at the differences that we’ve outlined below to get your perfect set of extensions.

The Difference Between Full Head Sets and Individual Wefts

One of the biggest differences between full head sets and individual wefts in how much hair is included. Full head sets come in different thickness’ so you can create the perfect customisable look for your hair. The HK Full Head Hair Extensions come with 10 wefts, including that incredible quad weft. The Bobby Glam Triple and Quad weft sets both include 6 wefts each. A full head set of extensions is ideal as you can choose how many wefts you want to use to suit your hair type or achieve the desired look – you can go super luxurious by using every weft, or just use a few for a more casual look. Our thickest hair extensions are the Bobby Glam Quad Weft and Triple Weft sets (they also weigh the most), as they have triple or quadruple the amount of hair sewn onto each weft.

The difference between full head sets and individual wefts

Our individual wefts only include only one weft in each package but you can purchase multiple packets to achieve your desired look. The Bobby Glam Layer Blending Wefts and Highlight and Blusher Wefts are also classed as individual wefts as these aren’t designed to fill the whole of your head. Layer Blending Wefts are ideal for joining the shorter layers of your own hair with your longer extensions or for filling in any gaps. The Highlight and Blusher wefts are perfect for anyone who doesn’t quite have an exact shade match or who’s just looking to add some more tones to their clip-ins.

The Difference Between Full Head Sets and Individual Wefts

The next difference between the full head sets and individual wefts is what they’re used for! If you’re craving a head full of gorgeous volume, sexy length and thickness, then you’ll need a full head set to create this and have it look natural. The individual wefts are designed to add volume to your hair or they can be used alongside a full head set for an extra boost or to fill in gaps with thicker hair types. It’s super important to note, individual wefts cannot be used for extending the length of your hair – unless you like the look of super obvious, unblended extensions!

Although there’s quite a few differences between our full head sets and individual wefts, they do have some things in common. All of our hair extensions are available in a huge variety of shades and lengths to help you on your way to your dream locks!

Hopefully this has answered your questions on the difference between full head sets and individual wefts but if you do have anymore questions, drop the team an email to info@dirtylooks.com and they are more than happy to help you out!
