Q: I have bleached blonde, very damaged hair, which used to be jet black! The hairdresser I go to has tried twice to put pieces of brown through my hair—but failed! Do you know why this is? What should I do? — Sharmeen

A: I would usually have to fill the hair of the missing pigment if I’m going to brown, which is pure gold pigment.

It would be 3 inches of Schwarzkopf Igora Color Creme in 0-55 with a half-inch of copper, and 3 inches of level 6 gold.

This would be a great formula for you to achieve a brown colour on high-lifted hair, without going muddy.

The more deposit of this formula you do, the better the colour will become.
