From Keestone Events – “I was so honored when Elizabeth of Lizzie Bee’s Flower Shoppe asked me to coordinate her wedding. For someone who deals with celebrations on a daily basis, she has seen a lot and therefore it means all the more to be a vendor! Since this was a winter wedding, lush garlands were incorporated into the design and no expense was spared on that aspect. We created an enchanting garden feel, indoors.”

HOW THEY MET & PROPOSAL

From the Bride, Elizabeth – “Mark and I met in Business class in 2015. We started hanging outside of class and working on another business together shortly after class was over and by February 2016 we started dating. Mark proposed at the Ft. Worth Petrolatum Club. After our lovely dinner there he popped the question. Without a hesitation I said yes!”

WEDDING STYLE

“We really wanted our wedding to be small & intimate. Our venue, Event 1013 in Plano, Texas was perfect for the size of our family and close friends. There was an urban feel when it came the aesthetics of the venue and we kept the color palette in brighter fall tones with lots of greenery.

We had a moss wall with a custom monogram in the middle and my mom got to make my bouquet which was very special to me. I also had a rosary on the bouquet that my grandmother gave me for the big day. At the venue we were able to hang pendants of flowers from the ceiling and have some low tables filled with beautiful garlands.

With me being a florist, the flowers were really important to us but also the food! We had wagyu steak brought in from a local company called Local Yocal and all the rest of the catering was from another amazing company Low Country Quisine.”

THE DETAILS

“Mark and my Grandma set up a surprise of Waterford crystal champagne flutes as a gift during the toast. I rarely have surprises but this was a great one and the meaning behind them was perfect for they day!

Annie’s Culinary Creations did an amazing job on our cake. We went away from the traditional white cake and Annie did a watercolor effect of jewel tone colors splashed with gold. It not only looked beautiful but tasted was amazing. As escort card we used little vases with flowers that the guest got to take home as favors as it was a winter wedding we decided to do a snowball fight for our exit. Everyone loved it!”
