While the inspiration for this shoot started with a vision of beautiful Spring blooms and fresh greenery outside, the drastic change in weather led us to the modern and industrial Moss Denver venue in the Santa Fe Arts District downtown.
This change in location ended up being a perfect fit – adding a unique contrast between the urban surroundings and the bohemian styled florals and wedding gown designed by Rue De Seine!”

The couple, Victor and Jess, first met on another photo shoot about one year ago. He was the photographer, she was the beautiful model, and the rest is history. They were such a joy to work with and shoot because their chemistry was extraordinarily real, playful and passionate!”
From Chancey Charm Weddings – “The floral inspiration was drawn from the elegance of spring blooms. When we moved last minute due to late spring snowstorm to a more urban venue, we wanted to play against the sleek walls and blank setting of one of Denver hottest new wedding sites with colors that danced in the soft light.
Using clematis, garden roses, fritilaria, veronica, scabiosa, jasmine vine and passion vine, Kit took inspiration from the natural movement of each of the flowers and choose the dramatic pairing of deep burgundy, blush, lilac and golds. Using an abundance of natural greens (like the details in the brides hair of fresh jasmine vine), we wanted to play against the feminine touches of the brides gorgeous Rue De Seine gown and long locks with a lush and feminine bouquet overflowing with texture.”
“All of the details for this shoot were hand-picked by Lindsey and Lauren of Chancey Charm Denver to reflect the fresh and vibrant feeling of Springtime – when everything is new and at it’s prettiest. A few favorites include the emerald and white vintage inspired ring by Kristin Coffin, the hand-painted macarons by Honeycombe Custom Cakes and Macarons and the noteworthy floral tie from Original Penguin.
One of the best moments of the day was when we all wrapped up the shoot by tucking into the amazing macarons and some of the popped champagne that was left over from styling the bar. We couldn’t let it go to waste, right?”
