Oh my goodness there is so much to love about today’s red, white, and blue lobster bake-themed wedding inspiration shoot from Eileen Meny Photography & Lifestyle Maven Events! First of all, it’s set in Brooklyn – an unlikely location for something so deliciously nautical but it totally works and I love that this team shows you how you can do what you want for your wedding, where you want.
Secondly, it’s Americana at it’s finest with plaid picnic table tablecloths, show-stealing red, white, and blue wedding invitations, and a star right in the center of the table – you’ve just got to love it! It’s the perfect summer wedding theme, style, look, and yes – location!
The menu is mouth-watering summer deliciousness with wedding-worthy sophistication: First Course: Long Island Oyster Shooters & Clam Chowder | Second Course: Warm Potato Salad with Snow Crab Legs | Entrée: Boiled Lobster, Orzo with Plum Tomato and Vidalia Onion Sauté Topped with Frizzled Leeks | Dessert: Wedding Cake!
From Eileen Meny Photography – “With summer here I loved the idea of doing a shoot that honored the season at the outdoor space at Pioneer Works (a center for research and experimentation in contemporary culture – so cool!) What could be better than doing something that honored the tried & true marriage of seaside + luxe?!
A lobster bake wedding seemed like the perfect way to incorporate the regalia of red, white, and blue (+ gold) while using soft romantic touches and natural fabrics.
