Dreamt up by Chancey Charm’s Atlanta, Georgia Wedding Planning team this styled shoot took place during the grand opening of The Greystone Estate in Ball Ground. Guests were in attendance, music filled the air, food & drinks were served and whoopee pie favors were even-handed out (so adorably Southern!). The entire ambiance of the event was one of a real wedding.
With a vision of pastels and an emphasis on blush, soft greenery, and touches of gold and charcoal with pops of magenta, this wedding inspiration shoot is feminine and ethereal with an organic, natural floral scheme!
From Sarah Chancey of Chancey Charm – “Morning Light by Michelle Landreau – Michelle’s work is always spot on! She’s a go-to photographer for our clients because she consistently produces vibrant, clear images that we can count on to capture every detail and emotion of a wedding day. She is professionally trained in photography and knows how to capture a stunning image in any lighting. We are absolutely gaga over the images that she captured at this event.”
From Sarah Chancey of Chancey Charm – “We absolutely loved having the addition of the Sasha Nicholas plates to our head table concept. It really tied everything on the table together, pairing her raspberry monogram with perfectly matched florals from Lindsay Coletta. Having custom monogrammed plates on the head or sweetheart table is a great way to customize a couple’s wedding, while also giving them a family heirloom to leave the reception with. Sasha’s pieces were absolutely stunning, and really added a level of elegance that we were looking for at this venue.
Who doesn’t love Lindsay Coletta’s florals?! Everything she touches is perfection and this shoot was no exception. I especially loved how her florals mingled with the gold foil details on the cake. Just stunning!
Having a few fun touches from Host & Toast was just the finishing touch this concept needed. Her cake topper and chair signs for the bride and groom were fun, while remaining romantic in feel. We often have brides looking for something like this, and she is our go-to. The quality you get in these pieces is incredible.”
“The custom bar and lounge setting that Crush Event Design brought in were really stellar. We opened their placement up on the patio, allowing guests to easily find a place to retreat during the reception or grab a drink during cocktail hour. Custom furniture and furnishings are always a great way to make your even feel more custom and intimate. I especially loved the low light Tracy’s standing lamps added to the space.”
“My biggest piece of advice for a bride looking to pull this look off is ‘keep it simple.’ Simple elegance has been my calling card for years, and it hasn’t failed me yet! If you doubt something, simplify. It’ll decrease your stress about the design and keep the union the focus, rather than a theme you’re not too sure of.
Invest in some really lush florals, an heirloom place setting you can take with you, and keep the rest low-key. One of my favorite details for this design were the linens. We went with a neutral dark grey. It added a formal elegance that everyone was raving about, but these linens were not expensive or varied in texture. It just proves that you don’t have to spend a lot to create an impact, when you have a few of the right pieces!”
