From Lauryn of Mood Events, LLC – “This winter wedding stylized shoot was inspired by a pair of skis and the desire to stay inside, nice and warm on a cold Michigan day. Mood Events and Lauryn Ann Photography envisioned a simple altar with a beautiful backdrop of colorful skis and once Blayne Broker of Studio B Detroit made that vision come to life, the rest of the shoot sort of just fell into place!
The wedding took place in a gorgeous loft-space at the Meeting House in Rochester. The building’s exposed brick and vents made for the perfect setting for our industrial space wedding. Fleur Detroit brought the outside in, with soft and wispy winter floral, while the Home Bakery across the street designed a fun (and extremely delicious) inside-out rustic caramel cake. Did we mention it was covered in marshmallows and drizzled in caramel too? YUM.
Oh, and we can’t forget Caymus, the couple’s beautiful pup! He may have stolen the show with his sassy fur infinity scarf and pouty puppy face. Lastly, there was a make your own hot cocoa bar with homemade, oversized marshmallows. The perfect way for this bride and groom to stay warm on cold winter’s day… other than their love, of course!”
