From High Emotion Weddings – “This wedding editorial is inspired by Ovid’s “Metamorphoses” in an imperial setting in wonderful Vienna, Austria. It is an homage to the transformation one undergoes when falling in love, when two individuals become one.
It is the story of a maiden who is very much alike Narcissus, being passionately in love with her own beauty, pleasures and independence, who turns into a self-confident, charming young lady once she falls in love with her future husband.”
From High Emotion Weddings – “The two stages are symbolized by several details in the shoot:
For PASSION: the horse is her companion – the ultimate companion nourishing her passions and dreams, the curly maiden hairstyle with a flower headpiece, the playful ruffled dress, and the checkered shirt, the strong colors in the decoration: red and gold, the golden mirror. The red pendant that her husband gives her after the ceremony is a symbol of him accepting her as she is with any reminiscence of her passions.
For LOVE: the ladylike updo and headpiece, the dress that’s lost its ruffled layer, the silver teapots, white cups and white & peach flowers.”
