Several simple details combined for this illustrious styled shoot at Jockey Ridge State Park in North Carolina’s infamous Outer Banks. Real-life couple Kasey and Jonathan set out to mesmerize as they stood atop the largest sand dune on the east coast, with plenty of colorful and organic touches at their helm.
A handmade invitation suite is the perfect starting point with its touches of green and gold and characteristic simple but charming design.
The emerald and gold highlights continue in the eye-popping vintage sapphire ring, which certainly brought the colorful inspiration to the bride’s style.
The location is much too wild and open for dainty flowers. A bouquet of white king protea, lisianthus, sea oats, tillandsias, plume reed, thistle, white lilac, and eucalyptus complemented the sand dune with its hearty texture and natural understated color.
With her hair in a statement braid to the side and the hem of her dress in her hands, Kasey explores and traverses the sand dune. Her gown is a simple silhouette with a flowing skirt and incorporates a statement embellished green belt around the waist.
Her makeup is warm and highlights her chestnut-colored eyes and brunette locks.
