Along the Potomac River, beautifully-preserved Old Town Alexandria served as the perfect place for bride and groom to take their engagement photos. This lovely couple chose to acknowledge their favorite pastimes and traditions by letting the lens follow them around their favorite haunts, to capture the true spirit of their connection.
The bride wore a beautiful floral-designed dress. The groom looked sharp in a crisp brown suit and light blue shirt. The golden hour light shone favorably as they walked hand-in-hand along the banks and admired the water from the boardwalk.
They made an outfit change into something more casual. She changed from her dress into a pair of dark skinny jeans and a white lace blouse, while he chose a brown blazer, dark jeans, and a stylish light brown shirt.
The cobblestone streets served as a charming reminder of Old Town Alexandria. The crunch of fall leaves underfoot only added to the warm and cozy ambiance the city provided, even with a chill in the air.
Quaint shops, taverns, and cafes full of character dotted the streets as the couple moved from one window to the next.
While his best accessory was a stylish watch, hers was most certainly the stunning engagement ring.
Lamp posts, brick exteriors, and historic architecture were the backdrop for many of their photos.
They paused at a small coffee shop to enjoy a warm beverage and a smile while moving on for another drink later in the shoot.
