From Alexandra Knight Photography – “The beautiful views of the Himalayan mountains are a perfect backdrop for a Nepali bride’s portrait session before her wedding day! Planned and coordinated by Nina & Wes Photography, along with styling from Abany Bauer, this beautiful portrait session shot on Kodak film came to life in the spring time Nepali sun.”
“The session was a styled shoot that was part of Nina & Wes Photography’s Beyond Workshop, which combined beautiful portrait sessions in some of the areas hardest hit by the major 2015 earthquake with a chance for the attendees to give of themselves and time to help the community continue to recover from such a significant tragedy.
Despite the hardships and challenging recovery, everyone we met in Nepal, including our bride, was kind, loving and generous!”
“Surrounded by breathtaking views, mountains as far as the eye can see, and a gorgeous venue with white wash stone walls and a rooftop location – we had everything we needed to create a bridal session that focused on the scenery and the bride without the need for endless other details. Gossamer provided a vintage gown and Silk & Willow provided ribbons to accent one of the bouquets.
Our bride’s bouquets were created entirely from foraged blooms around our venue. Fresh jasmine was the perfect flower for us to use thanks to its availability in Nepal and it’s light and beautiful texture.”
