From Svetlana Strizhakova – “This elopement wedding inspiration shoot took place in a Cold Gully – a mystical place among the river Volga bank and it was inspired by story of the Mistress of Zhiguli Mountains in Samara…”
“The Mistress, who lived in her chambers deeply inside the mountains, fell in love with a young man and took him into her underground chambers. Despite all the wealth and treasures that the Mistress had to offer, the young man was too sad without a daylight and fresh air, so sad that he even wanted to kill himself, but the Mistress saved him and let him go despite her love.
She still misses him and her tears gave birth to one of the springs in the mountains where precious stones can still be found in its waters.”
“We decided to use precious stones in our décor for this photo shoot because of the legend. The floral designs we kept lush and messy with desert flowers, like the greenery at Zhiguly mountains.
We decided to use a hug rock instead of a table, since our photo shoot is fairytale inspired.
And, of course, our location was just near the spring mentioned it that legend, so we could easily feel the fairytale atmosphere!”
