I’m so excited today to share this lava rock bridal session editorial from Mikkel Paige Photography, myself, and Moana Events! You may remember part 1 of this editorial from a couple of months ago – a gorgeous industrial glam wedding in Hawaii (see it here). It definitely wasn’t your typical destination beach affair! Well, we couldn’t spend all day in the warehouse so afterwards we headed down to the beach to capture a totally unique bridal session before the sun set over the Pacific.

What we were aiming for with this bridal shoot was to set a glamorous bride against the rustic beauty of Oahu’s awe-inspiring lava rock coastline. The flower balls from Florist Grand were reminiscent of pearls being washed ashore, and our stunning model Meaghan Halford couldn’t have looked more exquisite in her gold marble-esque Carolina Herrera gown and exquisite updo.
