She conveyed that the couple was a bit older and, with that passing of time, wiser and more refined. Their individual styles had changed, and with the addition of their son, Thomas Jr., they embraced a more minimal yet no less chic aesthetic.
Together, we opted for a venue that was equal parts unassuming and romantic: Atelier Roquette in Red Hook. From the outside, the venue looks like just another Brooklyn warehouse. Inside, however, the versatile space becomes an intimate venue complete with flickering candles and bright skylights.”
“As for floral, Stefanie wanted something clean, fresh, and sophisticated. An expert in floral design, Monica of Atelier Roquette decided on an array of whites, creams, and mixed greenery for the bouquet and centerpiece. As the theme was that of renewal and rebirth, green and light gray were our go-to accent colors.
The stationery suite designed by 4teen Forty kept with the minimal, sophisticated theme and incorporated bright stock with a muted, cement colored ink.
Amy at Lucky Bird Bakery designed a simple, yet delicious, naked cake perfect for a small affair.”
“Stefanie wore a gown by Lakum and a fabulous pair of green Marc Jacobs shoes. Our good friend Susie Saltzman provided some never before seen jewels. Thomas and Thomas Jr. wore their own versions of anniversary chic with Thomas in a black Calvin Klein suit.
Most important to the couple was what was being captured: the comfort their marriage has brought them and the fun they are having with their son. Behind the lens, Brandi of Alexis June Weddings made certain all of the happy moments, personality, and laughter shone through!”
