From Maria of Bride Tips – “We filled our wedding editorial shoot with inspiration not only from poetry but also from stunning paintings by Andrew Atroshenko and Jesus Helguera. As a result we created a touching, expressive and meaningful boho-chic story, paired with a touch of classic elegance. We wanted to show the beauty in keeping things vibrant, yet simple with so many gorgeous textures and inspiring free-spirited details incorporated throughout.”
From Maria of Bride Tips – “This story is about a soul full of love and hope, free as the wind or as a singing bird. The best expression of our idea is the colorful bird beautifully painted by our artist Anna Babikova on a page of poetry by Emily Dickenson.
Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without the words,
And never stops at all,
And sweetest in the gale is heard;
And sore must be the storm
That could abash the little bird
That kept so many warm.
I’ve heard it in the chillest land,
And on the strangest sea;
Yet, never, in extremity,
It asked a crumb of me.
From Maria of Bride Tips – “Designer Olga Yakushkina was so inspired by the idea and our vision that she created an ethereal dress with handmade bead embroidery just for the shoot. She chose popular Pantone color Biscay Bay. Our makeup artist Maria Arshinova created a bold and passionate yet at the same time natural and elegant look for the model and we adorned her hair with a delicate fresh flower comb.
We included subtle hints of boho inspiration by adding carefully thought out details: exquisite mehndi ornaments, a gorgeous teal chest with rich burgundy flower centerpiece, a guitar with a vibrant bird painted on it and a tambourine with airy extended ribbons which blew in the wind in a charming way.
The gorgeous watercolor cake with gold accents was created by Anna Kazimirova.
All of this created an ethereal scene for striking photographs by a talented photographers Sergey Bulychev and Sergey Ulanov and a beautiful sensuous video by a brilliant videographer Maria Bushaeva. Maria and Dmitry – our main heroes – were so much tender and loving and sincere that their feelings can be perceived in any photo of the shoot.
There were so many surreal, beautiful moments throughout the day, and the best was a stunning burst of sunset at the end of the shoot!”
