From Mallory of Two Be Wed – “The Vine in New Ulm is a new venue outside of Houston that we are excited to feature in this shoot! As everyone knows, Houston in the summer is HOT but there is also such a fun and carefree feeling in the air that we really wanted to capture with this inspiration shoot.
As much as we love being a part of formal and fancy events, we wanted to put together a shoot that showcased the more relaxed but also lively feel of summertime with a mix of bright colors, patterns, and a little bit of nostalgia thrown in!”
From Mallory of Two Be Wed – “When it came to designing the tablescape, we took on a more is more approach! love how we were able to mix all of the colors and designs of the plates, chargers, and linens and still create a cohesive look. Of course with all of the color going on the table, we couldn’t have neutral blooms, so Tamara Menges continued our more is more trend with a unique combination of flowers in a whimsical design.
As a nod to the venue, we wanted to incorporate some subtle vine detail throughout the shoot. From the invitation suites designed by Dreams and Nostalgia, to the display of the escort cards, to the swing and cake decor, vine detailing tied everything together.”
“Our beautiful bride was dressed in an exclusive design for Lovely Bride Boutique, and we love how the off the shoulder trendy look will stand the test of time. A pop of color on her lips was a must to compliment the floral touches in her updo. To keep our groom feeling comfortable and cool, we dressed him in a custom Dos Carolinas Guayabera shirt! Relaxed, yet refined, the perfect combination!
When you think of summertime, it’s only natural to flash back to memories of your childhood and how you spent the long days off from school. We knew we wanted to bring some of those memories to life with the swing, precious horse friends, and of course the snow cones! We can only imagine wedding guests’ excitement to see a snow cone machine rolled out during a warm summer night celebration!”
