From Sand + Lace – “The concept for this shoot was born on a rainy day somewhere during the Dutch Spring. Living partly in the Netherlands we were desperately seeking for a little sunshine and initially came up with a tropical theme. Along the way a bit of the tropical vibe stuck, but the location definitely gave it a raw, bohemian feeling.
My heart always starts to beat a bit faster when I am able to mix different styles at unusual locations like at this hidden beach at Legraina, just 45 minutes from the busy Athens city centre, where we choose to create a bohemian cliffside elopement with a tropical touch!”

I couldn’t have been happier with this dream team – they are the very best out there! When also the beautiful models, Yiannis and Zoe, committed themselves to this shoot – it felt complete.
The day of the shoot, a day in late July, I arrived early in the morning at the location. The blue water was clear and the beauty of the surroundings really left me mesmerized and speechless. I couldn’t wait to get started and soon created the cliffside picnic and DIY tipi, with the stunning Aegean Sea as a backdrop.”
“The lush tropical leaves, pink mini pineapples and coconuts really gave it the tropical vibe I was aiming for and as the sun was setting and we were capturing the beautiful couple I really had no words other than ‘magical’. I couldn’t be more proud of this team and what we have accomplished together!”
