You’d never guess from all the perfectly executed details that today’s bridal session editorial from Nicole Colwell Photography was planned and executed in just two days! Set against a unique, ivy-covered church in Virginia, it effortlessly combines earthiness with a traditional wedding style.
From Nicole Colwell Photography – “I am obsessed with ivy and when I found out about this ivy covered church I knew I had to do a shoot there! I literally planned this in two days but I think it turned out beautifully.
I wanted a natural simple look because I didn’t want to take away from the beauty of the church, so we did a ‘earthy’ look. The dress is a traditional lace dress and we paired it with a veil with lace accents. The bride wore an ivy/greenery crown that was simple but added to this bride’s look. The sweetheart table was adored with Spanish moss, baby’s breath, and gold-trimmed China. We finished off the details with a cake that was showcased on a tree stump stand surrounded with Spanish moss and topped with white roses.”
