Pleased to meet you! Kim Kardashian met Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton at a fundraising event in L.A. on Thursday, Aug. 6, but her look—while staying true to her well-documented pregnancy uniform—was fairly conservative.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 34, decided on a fitted taupe turtleneck dress topped with a nude blazer (with extra-long sleeves!) for the occasion. She completed the ensemble with her trusty ankle-strap heels.

The Selfish author attended Clinton’;s event with husband Kanye West, who kept it casual in a T-shirt, as well as her mother, Kris Jenner, who wore a polished, black coatdress.
On her way to hear Clinton, 67, speak, Kardashian tweeted her excitement, writing, “Excited 2 meet our next president tonight! Maybe she’;ll take a selfie w me.”

Since Kardashian dreams tend to come true, Clinton—dressed in a red garment with a statement red, white, and blue beaded necklace—consented to a selfie with the star, who’;s expecting a boy with West. But Kardashian didn’;t get away unscathed. In the flurry of eagerness to post the pic, she captioned the snap with a few unfortunate typos, including the word “presisent” instead of president (although she’;s since corrected the misspelling).

But, there were no hard feelings. Soon after, Clinton shared Kardashian’;s pic via Instagram with the caption, “New friends.”
