Lambert advised Entertainment Tonight that as quickly as she heard about her newest single, written by Audra Mae, she had to have it. “I type of tracked her down a minor bit in a stalker way due to the fact I was obsessed with her music and met her and we became pals,” the “God Gave Me You” singer shared. “I asked her if I could record her song and she stated, ‘Absolutely!’; and she truly sang background on the record.”
