Revenge hair? Miranda Lambert has gone platinum blonde after her split from husband Blake Shelton — and the sexy country singer showed she’;s still got her cute sense of humor as she shared a photo of her new tresses via Instagram on Thursday, Aug. 20.

“‘What doesn’;t kill you only makes you blonder'” the newly single 31-year-old wrote, borrowing the line from the title single on her new album, Platinum, before giving a shoutout to the folks behind her makeover. “Thanks @leewright_hairstylist and @stylehousesalon for the new do! #platinum #blondeshavemorefun.”
Lambert’;s certainly had her share of testing times recently. In July, she and former husband Shelton announced that they had called it quits on their marriage.

“This is not the future we envisioned,” they said in a statement to Us Weekly at the time. “And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”
The blonde singer has kept a fairly low profile since she became a single woman again, other than hitting the town for a couple of nights out with her best gal pal Ashley Monroe.
“I feel like I’;m on to something good,” Lambert captioned a snap of their most recent #datenight which she shared via Instagram, referencing Monroe’;s song “On to Something Good.”
