Strike a pose! Melissa McCarthy revealed a sneak peek of her new collection, Melissa McCarthy 67, to Vogue on July 29, and it’s full of figure-flattering pieces!
“I just wanted to do a basic closet that I couldn’t find,” The Spy star, 44, who also has her hands full with a new show in the works, told the fashion mag. “Anytime something has a personal feel to it, it’s authentic, and I find it inspiring.”

The pieces in McCarthy’s line will all be priced under $ 150, and will be available to buy on Sept. 1, but the actress will appear on HSN on Aug. 13 to introduce her label.

Despite all the roles the comedienne has played (and has yet to play) in Hollywood, working in fashion is something McCarthy said has been her secret pursuit. “It’s always what I thought I would do,” she explained to Vogue, describing her move to New York City with shoe designer Brian Atwood. “I was going to finish at FIT and he made me do stand-up on the second night,” she said.

The star’s new line focuses on bringing trendsetting looks to women of all shapes and sizes, with a range from size 4 to 28. Another aspect of the collection to look forward to? Plenty of pockets—especially in the dresses. “I put pockets in everything!” she said. “I want pockets inside my pockets!”
