‘Tis the season — again! If you think florals are made for spring and only spring, think again, ladies. Celebrities have been stepping out all week rocking darker takes on the warm-weather print.
PHOTOS: Kate Hudson’;s sexiest red carpet styles
Just look at Kate Hudson‘s latest number — a long-sleeved floral maxi dress, courtesy of Yanina Couture, which she donned to La Mer’;s Celebration of an Icon event in Hollywood on Tuesday, Oct. 13. The design (paired with Brian Atwood pumps) is right in keeping with Hudson’;s eternal summer boho flair. And yet, thanks to the addition of long sleeves, a high neckline, and romantic plum hues, the finish feels fresh for fall.

At the London premiere of The Lobster on Oct. 13, the British beauty, 45, modeled an ultra-romantic black-based Alexander McQueen dress embellished with a faded daisy bouquet print, muting the florals for a vintage feel. (Tiffany & Co. Deco-inspired “Jazz” earrings helped, too!)
