There’s a lot to love about this daytime moisturizer with SPF! First, it contains gentle mineral sunscreen actives (Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide) for full spectrum UVA/UVB protection, which puts my sun-paranoid mind at ease. Twice as nice, the nourishing natural formula infused with all the good-for-your-skin ingredients listed above leaves my dry skin hydrated and protected with one easy application. Two vital skincare steps merged into one; who can’t appreciate that?
Paraben and phthalate free, Presage relies on natural preservatives to stay fresh and absorbs into the skin almost instantly. It leaves my face moisturized (not at all sticky or greasy), has a lightweight feel and blends into the skin with a shine free semi-matte finish. Also, the formula doesn’t leave any unwanted white cast on the skin that’s typically the case with most mineral sunscreens.
Another thing worth a mention is that this day creme has been working well for my acne-prone skin. Even though the formula is not oil-free, I haven’t had any breakout issues so far. That said, if your skin is more on the oily side and you prefer something that also helps with controlling excess oil/shine, this creme may not be the best pick for you.
As for the drawbacks of this product, the first is jar packaging…you guys know I’ve never been a fan of jars when it comes to skincare. Secondly, the SPF factor is lower than I’d like. I prefer at least SPF 30, especially for summer.
