Q: Does brassy hair search negative on everybody? Or are there individuals whose skin tone and eye colour can actually handle brassy colours? I inquire because I have medium-toned neutral skin and hazel eyes, and get compliments on my light golden brown hair that really could be named brassy brown. My mom had a whole lot of red in her hair, and so do two of her sisters. So is it undesirable, or it just only looks good on some individuals? Do some people just battle a dropping battle when they should be taking advantage of the red tones in their hair? — Alex

A: Brassy is not so negative. There are various shades of brassiness.

Everybody wants Ombré, and Ombré is brassy. As prolonged as the brassy is not on the scalp, individuals like it.

Appear at Jennifer Lopez, for instance. She has tones of mocha with neutral brown. Her highlights are a bit on the brassy side, but it appears excellent.

Your skin tone with your eyes sounds incredible for a handful of brassy highlights. Because you have a great deal of warmth in the family members, I wouldn’t battle the warmth.

I would go a tiny bit lighter with some highlights to break up your brassy brown base colour—that’s all you require to do. After you break it up with brighter highlights, you won’t appear at it as brassy any longer.

For change, you can inquire your hairdresser to use an ashy toner to neutralize it, if you want a great brown.
