Clinique Smart Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Custom-Repair Moisturizer is daytime multi-tasker that helps prevent and repair damage caused by harmful UV rays and environmental aggressors. What’s smart about this spf? Its smart shield! Polyethylene acts as a ‘floating’ matrix on skin’s surface by suspending all UV agents, helping to prevent sunscreens from penetrating into skin, thus safeguarding against any potential sensitivity or irritation. Plus, it boasts of good-for-your-skin ingredients like Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, glycerin, caffeine, hyaluronic acid and murumuru butter that help stimulate natural collagen production and maximize hydration.
The oil-free formula is available in 3 different formulas for skin types very dry to dry, dry combination, and combination oily to oily. I tried the Very Dry to Dry version but it turned out to be a little too rich/heavy for use on my dry to combination/acne-prone skin. I think the dry combination formula would be a good choice for me.
Clinique Smart Night Custom-Repair Moisturizer – This multi-tasking oil-free cream has been formulated to address concerns such as lines, wrinkles, dehydration, uneven skin tone and sagging skin by helping to provide targeted visible repair at night when your skin is in a state of rest. With a cocktail of ingredients including hydrolyzed soy protein, soy amino acids, glucosamine, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, hyaluronic acid and whey protein, the formula has such a luxuriously hydrating feel! I wake up to skin that looks fresh, smooth and supple. This one is also available in 3 different formulas for skin types Very Dry to Dry, Dry Combination, and Combination Oily to Oily. Unless you have super dry skin, I would recommend the dry- combination formula for normal to dry skin types like mine.
Clinique Smart Treatment Oil – If you have been wanting to add a facial oil into your skincare routine but haven’t found a good one, the Smart Treatment oil is a must-try! Unlike traditional oils, the lightweight fragrance-free formula is truly non-greasy, but is packed with nourishing and anti-aging ingredients that help to deeply condition dry, damaged skin. It contains a triple antioxidant blend (Vitamins C, E and Cranberry Seed Oil) and soothing plant extracts & oils (like sesame, sunflower seed and argan oil) that defend your skin from harmful free-radical damage and environmental pollutants.
I love how light it is and makes my skin feel instantly smooth and radiant, without leaving any greasy/oily film or unwanted shine. I just take two to 3 drops of this oil in my hands and gently pat into my skin right after cleansing. You can also mix a few drops of this light, smoothing oil to your daily moisturizer or foundation for an added boost of nourishment!
