Jerome Alexander Hot Stuff Go Pop Compact (full size,$ 10.99) – This is such an adorably cute little palette! Inside there are 3 eyeshadows and 3 lipglosses. Although I like the lipgloss shades, the eyeshadow shades are just not the sort of colors I usually wear so I would probably pass it on to my niece.
Donnamax Printed Nail File with Case ($ 5) – A cute nail file with a case? Nice! This is great for tucking in your purse. The travel-friendly case not only keeps the nail file from dulling but also makes it more convenient and hygienic to use.
Starlooks Luxe Longwear Eyeliner Pen in Plum (full size, $ 19.99) – I have never been a fan of felt tip eyeliners but this one is probably the best I’ve ever tried! It goes on soooo smoothly and the plummy-purple shade is just perfect for fall! It’s also waterproof and lasts all day….this is undoubtedly my favorite item from the box!
Hask Beauty Deep Conditioning Hair Treatment (full size, $ 2.39) – I have tried this deep conditioner before and really like it so this is another useful item for me! It’s a nice treat for dry, damaged hair.
Pur~lisse Pur Moist Hydra-Balance Moisturizer (sample size) – It’s not the first time I’ve received this Pur~lisse moisturizer in a Beauty box 5…it has been included a few times before (and in other beauty boxes as well). Even though it’s a nice product, it’s obviously not exciting to get it again.
Overall, I liked the selection of products in August Beauty Box 5. It was a well rounded box with makeup, haircare and skincare items with a value of about $ 55 which is pretty good! Except for the palette, I will be using up all other products and especially that purple eyeliner which is a fabulous find!
