Ditch the Winter Itch With Vaseline® Intensive Care™ Advanced Repair Lotion!

Sponsored postOkay, winter, I know you’re a tough cookie. The season of inconvenient snowstorms, whipping winds, and dry flaky skin (and the irritating itchiness that comes with it!) Yep, for me you’re the worst fiercest season of them all! I mean, I have naturally dry skin which is hard enough to deal with anyways, but the Sahara Desert situation I have to tackle every year is such a doozy. Once the temperatures take a nose dive, my hands are super dry and my legs itch if I don’t moisturize at least twice a day. And as for the chapped lips, brittle hair and flaky nails – well, that’s just an overkill don’t you think?

Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Lotion review

As another winter season looms, so do the skincare woes associated with negative-temperature winds and dry indoor heat. My dry skin is already getting much more ravenous for moisture. Thankfully, I have 2 two tried & true winter essentials to my rescue this season – Vaseline® Intensive Care™ Advanced Repair Lotion & Freezy Freakies color changing gloves! (do you remember those fun gloves from the ’80s that reveal surprising designs in the cold…they are back!)

Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Lotion

Infused with the goodness of micro-droplets of Vaseline Jelly, the Vaseline® Intensive Care™ Advanced Repair Lotion packs a seriously hydrating punch when it comes to healing parched skin! According to Vaseline, its formula goes beyond basic moisturization and is clinically proven to heal very dry skin in just 5 days. Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Lotion contains a specially designed blend of glycerin (to pull moisture into all layers of surface skin), healing micro-droplets of Vaseline Jelly, plus Dimethicone (to lock moisture in) that work together to moisturize deeply and help your skin heal faster.

I love how super hydrating the formula is without a greasy feel! I slather it on right after stepping out of the shower and also after I wash my hands so the Vaseline Jelly micro-droplets can really seal the moisture into my skin. It’s rich and creamy but soaks in pretty quickly, quenching my dry skin instantly with a healthy dose of hydration. I really concentrate on drier areas of my skin such as elbows, knees and hands to keep the roughness away. It really does help to hydrate very well, making my uncomfortably dry winter skin feel much better! Another plus is that it is suitable for sensitive skin with its fragrance-free formula.

Thanks to the constant hand washing that is much needed in this nasty cold & flu season, my hands especially need a little extra TLC but this lotion really does help them recover from the winter weather abuse! And I love that it does that without leaving a sticky or greasy residue so I can get right back to typing, texting or whatever I have been doing! And I am also loving my new Freezy Freakies gloves that help me stay warm when I am out in the cold. Not only do they feel nice on the inside with their super soft microfleece but their bright colors & designs are so fun….what a blast from the past!

Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Lotion winter skincare

Vaseline® Intensive Care™ Advanced Repair Lotion is surely a winter skincare staple for me to beat the winter skin blues! If you’ve been in search of a super hydrating (and budget-friendly!) lotion for frigid weather, make sure to try it out and kick dry chapped winter skin to the curb. It’s easily available at drugstores and mass retailers nationwide for only $ 4.99.
