ACM Awards 2015: The Have to-See Attractiveness Appears

on

Red carpet events nearly always happen in Los Angeles, but final night’;s yearly Academy of Nation Music Awards had been held in Texas—and that might’;ve informed the attractiveness vibe. (No offense to Texas, but… how else can you describe not one but two attendees sporting candy-coloured purple eyeshadow?)

Right here are all the night’;s hair and makeup seems to be:

Miranda Lambert

We’;ll kick items off with Miranda, who is at the top not due to the fact I believe she had the greatest beauty look, but since this was a nation occasion, following all. (Taylor was there, but didn’;t stroll the red carpet, and I suppose she’;s not considered nation any longer. We have Taylor fatigue, so it truly is okay.) Anyhow, Miranda here is a classic situation of “excellent from afar” elegance. In the first shot, she appears quite fab: I enjoy this new straight lob haircut and toned-down blonde, plus the pastel makeup seems like it really is operating with the pale blue dress. But then you get shut-up, and it is like whaaaat? That fluoro lilac lip colour could not be far more unflattering, specially with her spray tan, and why has it been paired with more purple (a pinky-purple) on the eyelids? I am totally convinced that she wants to employ a new makeup artist.

Miranda Lambert (Appear #2)

But wait, there is much more Miranda! Later in the evening, she switched factors up to this vampier seem, including red lipstick and waves to her hair—and thankfully darkening that purple eyeshadow for a smokier impact. I like her hair the two methods, but most likely prefer it straight (more slimming with her round face). Unfortunately, I discover this makeup significantly as well harsh/hefty with her pale colouring and the spray tan, which I want she’;d ditch… but then once more, at least it does not contain that jarring Nicki Minaj-esque lip. So it really is a toss-up, basically.

Reese Witherspoon

Who woulda thought? Reese went for the purple eyeshadow as properly, and in truth, hers is even more dramatic than Miranda’;s, with an added halo of fuchsia (!!). And nevertheless, the execution is much far better. Her skin is organic and fresh, the liner and lashes aren’;t heavy, and her lips are just stained pink. Hair is wonderful, as well, despite the fact that when does not Reese’;s hair look excellent?

Sofia Vergara

Practically nothing new right here, just Sofia’;s typical. I’;ll start off with some thing great: I love her hair. The balayage highlighting is top-notch, and it appears so sexy and touchable with the middle element and super-gentle waves. Moving on to makeup… I nevertheless don’;t get why the lip texture is always so hefty on her. (This shade is CoverGirl Tempt Berry.) I also will not love the false lashes, and perhaps some brow wax would support also? I’;ll bet Mary would know what to do with these brows.

Beth Behrs

Beth seems to be type of adorable right here. I truly like the updo with the texture and height, particularly with the large neckline of her dress. She wisely stored issues exciting with a wonderful bright pink lip, and super-fresh skin (with basis sheer ample to display off her freckles). By the way, her makeup is all Mary Kay. I consider the lip colour is Wild About Pink!

Olivia Culpo

Watch out, Cara Delevingne. Olivia Culpo is giving some serious brow competitors. Truthfully, I never know why she went so far with the lashes—she isn’;t going to want them to be that dramatic with a pair of brows like this! I find the foundation a bit heavy as well, and possibly not quite a match when you examine her face to her neck.

Rainey Qualley

I don’;t know who Rainey Qualley is, but she’;s critically reminding me of a younger Megan Fox. Y’;know, before Megan started messing with fillers and all of that. I really really like this red carpet debut… skin is very fresh, brows are complete and organic and she’;s genuinely not sporting a lot makeup other than some peachy blush, mascara and sheer lip gloss. So refreshing in contrast to the consider-hard vibe of, say, Miranda Lambert.

Cassadee Pope

Okay, speaking of celebrity doubles… could not Cassadee be a younger Tami Taylor—I suggest Connie Britton? It’;s the freckles and the enviable mane of reddish hair. Total, I like this straightforward red carpet search, with just simple liner to play up the eyes and a sheer lip gloss. Up-close, I see that the basis is a bit heavy, but I think that’;s simply because of some small skin concerns, and at least her freckles show via on her nose. Her brow tails are drawn-on, but I am not positive anything else could be carried out about that… you will not genuinely recognize it considering that her supporters are so great at the inner corners.

Kellie Pickler

Kellie’;s hair is about bob-length now, and in other images I have seen of her this yr, in fact looks so excellent worn down—this updo is not carrying out her justice. Neither is the eye makeup, as all I can concentrate on is that big sweep of gold shimmer. Surely there is a greater way of bringing out her eyes? I would also fake a better brow form. Not certain if she’;s a candidate for brow rehab from more than-tweezing, or if this is just what she’;s got, but I feel they could be evened up and thickened up with some clever filling.

Jana Kramer

Last time we noticed Jana was at the Teen Selection Awards, and she was a lot far more tanned—and seemingly wearing less foundation. I never mind her look here, but I come to feel like she’;s wearing much more makeup than she demands to. The eye makeup specifically feels dated, with the hefty taupe shadow and the black in the waterlines. And I would like to see her brows a bit softer and much less threaded-looking.

Danielle Bradbery

Right here we go once again… Danielle is so fairly, but this eye makeup is way as well significantly. You presently know how I feel about heavy false lashes, and also, I would like to move past this thought of emphasizing the eyes with black shadow and black liner in the waterlines. On pale skin, it’;s not necessary. I truly feel like some thing else is off here, and it’;s almost certainly the spray tan looking unnatural with her true colouring.

Hayley Orrantia

And now we come to the opposite difficulty, no lashes at all. Cannot say I’;ve seen this a single on the red carpet just before! I consider Hayley is in the rare camp of men and women who could truly use a couple of (SUBTLE) false lashes to play up her eyes. I don’;t adore the eye makeup, particularly the black in the lower lid, and I feel the brow-filling is way as well angular. But the stained lips are fairly, and she has stunning youthful skin.

Kacey Musgraves

Now we arrive at what has turn into a tradition… the closing of our nation music red carpet round-ups with Kacey Musgraves in some retro ’;60s getup. (Here she is at the identical event last year, and at the CMA Awards, as well.) This time, we get a bouffant fishtail with frosty pink lipstick, and I suppose it truly is rather toned-down for her. But it truly is frustrating, because naturally with a handful of tweaks—if we could just get her styled according to the present decade—she’;d be a knockout. Why does she always do these literal interpretations of the 1960s, does anyone know?!

Have Your Say

Who had the ideal appear on this red carpet? The worst? Would you copy any of these seems to be?
